The Grange men went on a backpacking trip to Upper Cataract Lake in the Eagle's Nest Wilderness in Colorado. As Ryan put it, "It was fun, with enough misery to make it a real camping trip."

Here we are fishing at Mirror Lake.

Spencer crossing the outlet to Mirror Lake.

What's dad cooking up for dinner? Rice a Roni? Ramen? Zataran's? A regular Emeril Lagasse. Except Emeril doesn't have a hand carved pot holder. Bam!

Our second day, we decided to hike straight up this rock slide to reach Dora Lake.

Dora Lake

On the high plateau on our way down.

These clouds are ten minutes from dumping on us.

Dad dominated this rock.

This is what happens to your shoe when you dominate rocks.

These are such beautiful pictures. At least you enjoyed lots of great scenery and now have great memories. Love the shoe story. Your Dad shared it with us while in Hawaii. Pretty funny.
